Welcome

I'm glad you found your way here.  You may be visiting out of curiosity.  Or more likely, something troubling has happened.  And now pushed by circumstances, it's become clear---things can't go on as before.

You may need to repair your failing marriage...defuse the tension of a nasty separation...or rebuild your life after a painful divorce,

You may need to control your explosive temper...or assert your suppressed anger.  You may want to mend your relationship with someone you've hurt...or stand up to someone who is hurting you,

You may need to regain your footing after a devastating loss and seek someone who'll listen without saying "get over it."

Or perhaps past therapy hasn't worked, and now you must find for yourself, or a loved one, help that will finally make a difference.

Whatever it is that has led you here...something must change in order to feel your life moving again in a direction that is right for you.

Yet as much as you need to take this step, it is often hard to do alone.  For good reason.  These are difficult and sensitive matters---sensitive, because they are deeply personal; and difficult, because when problems are complex we tend to resist change.  Yet the desire for change is healthy; and when properly nurtured, change is possible.  But it calls for more than a well-meaning friend or family member.  In these circumstances you need a psychotherapist, someone capable of being a partner in your process of change.

By
coming here today you've taken a step toward finding an experienced partner---someone whose skill and effectiveness helps people make important changes in their lives.  This is why I invite you, when you're ready, to take your next step and contact me for a free, initial phone consultation.  I'm confident you'll find our conversation worthwhile.

T
hen, if you wish, we'll arrange to talk again.  We'll work together---guided by your individual needs and my professional experience---to sustain the changes already underway and to welcome the changes yet to come.
