Fees and Other Questions

Individual and Couples therapy: $300 per 45-minute session, unless we agree to a different amount.
Group therapy: $95 per session.

Finding a good therapist is not easy.  The path is often strewn with missteps and uncertainty.

For this reason, when you contact me about the possibility of individual or couples therapy, we start with a three-session consultation---a "trial therapy" that allows us to see whether or not we can work productively together.  I f we find that my approach to therapy works for you, and you decide that you would like to continue, we can do so as long as it meets your needs and goals.

The initial consultation for group psychotherapy is specific to the group in question.  For more information, please visit the page of the particular group that interests you.

The fee for all groups is a "subscription" that reserves your place in the group. The fee is not waived in the event that you cannot attend a scheduled meeting of the group.

No group is larger than seven members.New members are expected to attend for a minimum of twelve sessions to give sufficient time for a successful transition into the group.  All members are welcome to stay in a group as long as it meets their needs and goals.

Insurance Reimbursement

I am an "out-of-network" provider.  My services are reimbursable by all major insurance plans that offer out-of-network benefits.  Many of my clients receive reimbursement for my services.  If you are not sure about your benefits, please check with your employer for details about your plan.  For those who intend to use their "out-of-network" insurance benefits, I will provide you with a monthly statement to submit for reimbursement.
